EXCELLENTVerified LOVE Perfect Pineapple! We’ve stayed at Perfect Pineapple quite a few times before this trip so we knew it’d be great! However, they have these new rooms literally 120 steps to the beach ( I counted!! ). They are so cute… very clean and comfortable. We were there for 3 nights.. not long enough :( as usual Greg and Hilda provided amazing service and it has to be the best deal on the island.Posted onVerified OUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME This is honestly the best place to stay on the Island. Hilda and Greg are so accommodating and they take care of us everytime we vacation on Jost Van Dyke. We love cabin #5 and we have been coming and staying at the Perfect Pineapple for 8 years now. This year we looked at the new rooms that they built and they are beautiful. They are such hard working people and we absolutely love staying here. The rooms and cabins are clean and the beds are so comfortable. My husband and I love that is a little off the beach because we can come back to privacy and quiet to relax. We absolutely love Greg and Hilda and will never stay anywhere else. God bless the both of you and we already miss both of you. Booking is extremely easy with Hilda, pick up from the ferry by Greg is easy as well. Order groceries ahead of your stay and they will be ready and waiting for you on arrival. From the moment you step onto the balcony and see the view of beautiful White Bay your stress just melts away. The rooms are quaint and clean, everything you need. The air conditioning works great after a hot day in the sun. There is a tv in the room, but we didn't turn it on one time during our week stay. Hilda makes delicious breakfast sandwiches for a quick bite before heading to The Soggy Dollar for the day, just a short 5 minute walk away. I have absolutely NO complaints about Hilda, Greg, Navonne and The Perfect Pineapple Guest Houses! Small kitchenette in the new studio plus south facing porch make this a great spot on the island. Super support by Hilda and Navonne who offer breakfast and lunch items if desired. If you are headed to the Soggy Dollar, this is a great place to be. Access to taxis is easy and save on car rental fees.Posted onVerified Fantastic family owned guest houses! We came upon this delightful inn by accident! My wife was not feeling well and could no longer sail. We happened upon Hilda and the Perfect Pineapple 🍍 From our first meeting they treated us like family! This is an extraordinary find! Little bungalows tucked into the hillside. Wonderful brand new air conditioner and super fast wifi. They cook meals. Unfortunately, we did not try but smelled fabulous! Simple but clean as a whistle. Best part, steps to amazing White beach. Literally, one of the nicest beaches we have ever seen. Easy walk to the beach. Nothing fancy but everything you need. Perfect for Jost Van Dyke. Hilda and Greg are wonderful hosts. Greg also provides taxi service to other parts of the island. Explore, relax, eat well and enjoy.Posted onVerified Vacation paradise This is the place to stay. We booked the 1BR suite but there was a cancelation in the Luxor suite so the put us there. Best view. Hilda and Greg are the perfect hosts. The hill was pretty steep but doable. Greg was always available to haul us up if needed. Everyone was so friendly and always remembered our name. Spent most of our time at Gertrudes with Olga. We enjoyed it so much we made reservations to come back again.Posted onVerified JVD Perfect Pineapple We stayed for 7 nights in the Luxor Suite. Had a great time. Room was clean, air worked, our groceries were stocked when we arrived. The hill is steep, it’s a hike especially at night after a long day. Be prepared to pay$5 pp each way for taxi rides to Great Harbor. Getting a ride was no problem at all. Would also recommend bringing beach towels. Sand fleas are bad this year so bring bug spray. Breakfast sandwiches were good. Amazing view to wake up to every day. Will be back!Posted onVerified Cleanest room, hottest shower! We had an enjoyable stay at Perfect Pineapple earlier this month. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The balcony had a great view, table and chairs and hammock. I loved this place. The shower had the best pressure and was so hot. Something I had not had while traveling the islands. The family is very hospitable and welcoming. Coffee, breakfast and lunch is served in the office. I believe you need to place an order in advance for food. Greg, the owner, is a taxi driver and is available to drive you around for a small fee. The tv was nice to wind down to at night after being in the sun and water all day! Highly recommend this place. Very affordable and clean accommodations.
